Pre-Tour Highlights (Nov 23 – 27)
Day 1 – Arrival in Quito (Sun Nov 23)
Settle into Ecuador’s high-altitude capital and acclimate for the adventure ahead.
Day 2 – Otavalo Market + Parque Cóndor (Mon Nov 24)
Explore the world-famous Otavalo Market, bursting with hand-woven textiles and authentic crafts.
Visit Parque Cóndor, a raptor refuge where the Andean condor spreads its 10-foot wingspan against volcanic peaks.
Days 3–4 – Ibarra / Lake San Pablo (Tue & Wed)
Fly two of Ecuador’s most scenic sites. Smooth ridge lift, generous thermals, and the towering presence of Imbabura Volcano make this region legendary among pilots worldwide.
Overnight in Ibarra to enjoy golden-hour sessions and local hospitality.
Day 5 – TelefériQo High Launch (Thu Nov 27)
Ascend to 13,000 ft ( 3,950 m ) on the TelefériQo cable car and launch over Quito itself. One of the highest legal takeoffs on Earth—an essential item on every pilot’s bucket list.
After breakfast at landing, transfer to the coast for the Fly-In.

The 4th Annual Canoa Fly-In (Nov 28 – Dec 1) - The Main Event
At Coconut Beach Hotel, everything revolves around flying.
Wake up to ocean thermals, yoga and coffee. Stroll to launch, and land next to your room.
Afternoons bring steady ridge lift, sunset sessions, and evening bonfires.

Optional Post-Fly-In Decompression Adventure – “The Secret Spot” (Approx. Dec 3 – 5 2025)
When the Fly-In wraps up, join fellow pilots for an unscripted finale at a private hidden four-mile coastal site near San Clemente.
Spend the day flying soft coastal lift, walking deserted beaches, or simply recharging.
As the sun sets, a bonfire crackles. Dinner is shared, music drifts across the sand, and dancing carries on beneath the stars.
You can return to Coconut after dinner, or stay to camp beside the waves.
It’s the perfect way to close out an epic week of flying and friendship.
